And so it happened – the day before the draw, Medvedev announced the withdrawal: “Unfortunately, I will not be able to play in Rotterdam this year. I just got back from Australia, not ready to play yet. Rotterdam is one of my favorite places in Tours. The organizers are doing a great job for the players.
